Gastrointestinal cancers are among the most aggressive cancers, but are often the least publicly discussed, resulting in fewer funds for research.


Beginning at age 50, men and women should be screened for colorectal cancer every five years. The third most common cancer in both sexes, colorectal cancer has a 90% survival rate when caught in the early stages.


Funded research makes a difference in the lives of cancer patients.
On October 11-12, 80 real estate students across the Midwest joined Foundation members in Chicago for the first annual Eisenberg Foundation Career Day.
 

The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation has partnered with Dr. Al Benson and Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine to develop treatment strategies for gastrointestinal cancer.

Each year the Foundation recognizes an outstanding real estate student at The University of Illinois with a tuition scholarship.
