Harold graduated college from the University of Illinois and obtained his law
degree from the University of Southern California. Harold then went on to become
a real estate developer who also taught development courses at the
International Council on Shopping Centers School for Professional Development.
Harold always emphasized the importance of education, and as a result,
the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation committed to higher education by
beginning a scholarship fund at the University of Illinois. Each year the Foundation
works closely with the Real Estate Program at the University of Illinois to award a
student a full one-year scholarship to recognize outstanding achievement in the field of
real estate. In addition, the student attends the Foundation's Annual Real Estate Dinner
where he/she is presented the award and has the opportunity to interact with various
people in the real estate industry.
